Drone Destination Limited was initially incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 2013, under the name “Drone Destination Private Limited,” on May 10, 2019. It thereafter transformed into a public limited company and modified its name to “Drone Destination Limited”.
Drone Destination Limited is a DGCA-authorized RPTO that offers certified training programs at multiple locations throughout India. After completing the course, the RPTO issues a Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) through DGCA’s Digital Sky Platform for a specific class and category of the drone.
In the Year 2020, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) joined into an agreement with Drone Destination Limited to deliver DGCA-certified drone training. IGRUA and Drone Destination presently offer training at seven DGCA-authorized drone training bases located in Gurugram, Bangalore, Gwalior, Kangra, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Bhopal. As of May 03, 2023, Drone Destination Limited, in alliance with IGRUA, has trained 932 drone pilots in India, and the Remote Pilot Certificates have been issued by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi.
Drone Destination Limited has its headquarters in New Delhi and has a well-experienced team of aviation and drone specialists. Drone Destination Limited became the National Skill Development Corporation’s (NSDC) first Drone Training Partner In the year 2022. It offers joint certification on a range of drone-related application courses through the NSDC’s Skill India Portal.
Recently, Drone Destination Limited has started offering its drone services for the “Prime Minister Svamitva Yojna” through a memorandum of understanding with several GIS companies. The scheme is implemented with the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, State Revenue Department, State Panchayati Raj Department, and Survey of India. Currently, Drone Destination Limited has deployed 34 drone pilots and co-pilots to conduct village and large-scale mapping across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka. As of April 30, 2023, their drones have already flown over 4,481 villages.
